EVENTS // Wallet Activism IRL and Virtual Book Tour

So that it’s all together in one place, here is a full rundown of all of the events I’m doing to launch Wallet Activism. I’ll keep this page updated as we add new events and links. All of these events are free, though I hope you’ll consider buying the book from the host store to thank them and to support local, independent bookstores. (That’s itself an act of wallet activism!)

Full book tour rundown, all of which is included as plain text in the blog post.

Review and Library Request Drawing Entries

To get entered into the virtual hangout drawing (see below), send screenshots of your reviews of Wallet Activism and library requests for it to WALLETACTIVISM at GMAIL dot com. (Written that way to prevent spam overload.) The drawing will be held in early January 2022.

Virtual one-on-one drawings:

We’ll be doing a drawing in January for ten hourlong virtual hangouts with me, which you can use however you want – we can just chat, I can talk to your bookclub, or whatever you’d prefer. Here is how you can get entries into the drawing:

Reviews — One entry for every review you leave (for example, one for reviewing on Amazon, one for reviewing on Goodreads, etc.).

Library requests – One entry for every copy you request from your library (for example, one drawing for requesting the ebook, one for requesting the physical copy), and if you have a library card at multiple libraries, you can potentially accrue quite a few entries this way.

Preorders – One entry for every copy of the book you preordered. (You’re also entitled to other bonuses, so email your receipt if you preordered but didn’t send it in.)

Independent bookstore – Bonus entry if you preordered from an indie bookstore or Bookshop.org.
